About Tronair

Tronair is a United States based manufacturer of GSE equipment, providing aircraft operators with lifting and shoring equipment, ice and rain protection products, landing gear, fuselage products, and much more. With ISO 9001:9015 registration, Tronair ensures 12 point quality inspection tests for all of their manufactured items.

Tronair was first established in 1971 as Danair by the Dana Corporation flight department. As their first product, the company produced a 5 ton axle jack as a part of their towbar & jack product lines. With their produced towbars, Danair supplied customers such as Learjet, Falcon Jet and Gulfstream GI during their early years. In 1980, Danair was acquired by Tronco and was rebranded as Tronair. At this time, they also moved their headquarters to Holland, Ohio.

Through the following years, the company began to expand their offerings with new GSE equipment. At the same time, Tronair also acquired multiple businesses to allow them to grow in their operational capabilities. In 2018, Tronair moved their headquarters to Swanton, Ohio to increase their facility size. As of the present, Tronair continues to produce robust GSE equipment for a worldwide customer base.
